Sharing our blessings to help Brunswick County families live safely and securely in the homes they love.

Deep Roots in Brunswick County

The Faatz family has called Brunswick County home for a lifetime. This is the community where they have built their lives, raised their family, developed their businesses, and experienced the support of neighbors who have become friends.

The Faatz Foundation was established in 2024 from a desire to turn that gratitude into meaningful service. Guided by faith, the family believes the blessings they have received are meant to be shared with others—especially neighbors facing circumstances that threaten the safety and stability of their homes.

Through practical assistance, professional experience, and community partnerships, the Foundation works to help local homeowners complete critical repairs and necessary renovations they may otherwise be unable to afford.

When a House Is More Than a Structure

A home represents security, dignity, stability, and belonging. Unfortunately, many homeowners face serious repair needs caused by storms, flooding, age, financial hardship, or unexpected circumstances.

Without assistance, a damaged floor, leaking roof, water intrusion, or failing structure can eventually make a home unsafe. The Faatz Foundation was created to help bridge that gap by bringing together experience, resources, generosity, and people who care.

The goal is not simply to repair houses. It is to help families remain safely in the places they call home.

Our Mission

Founded in 2024, The Faatz Foundation is committed to helping Brunswick County homeowners remain safely and securely in the homes they love. Guided by faith and gratitude for the many blessings our family has received, we use our experience, resources, and community partnerships to provide critical home repairs and renovations for families facing financial hardship or unsafe living conditions. As lifelong Brunswick County residents, we are honored to give back to the community that has supported us by blessing others, strengthening families, and supporting causes that improve the lives of our neighbors.

We are guided by faith and a calling to use our blessings in service to others.

We prioritize repairs and improvements that protect the health, security, and well-being of homeowners.

We approach every homeowner and every situation with kindness, understanding, and respect.

We use donated funds, materials, services, and time thoughtfully and responsibly.

We believe assistance should strengthen people without defining them by their circumstances.

We believe lasting change happens when neighbors, businesses, volunteers, and organizations work together.

A Foundation Built to Respond

The Foundation’s early work demonstrated how the right assistance can transform a family’s circumstances.

After repeated flooding left one local family living with severely deteriorated and unsafe flooring, extensive work was completed to restore the home and provide a safer living environment.

In another situation, a Brunswick County homeowner needed a complete interior renovation but did not have the resources to pay traditional retail construction costs. The Foundation helped make the project possible by completing the work at cost, significantly reducing the homeowner’s financial burden.

Each situation is different. Assistance is considered based on the homeowner’s need, safety concerns, project feasibility, available resources, and the Foundation’s ability to make a meaningful difference.

Serving Beyond the Home

While critical home repairs remain central to our mission, The Faatz Foundation also supports select charitable programs, community initiatives, and events that improve the lives of Brunswick County residents.

By partnering with local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and donors, we hope to strengthen the broader community and respond to needs where our support can have a meaningful impact.

Whether you give financially, donate materials or professional services, volunteer your skills, or connect us with a homeowner in need, you can help create safer homes and a stronger Brunswick County.
