If critical repair needs are making it difficult for you or someone you know to live safely at home, The Faatz Foundation may be able to help. Complete the preliminary request below to tell us about the homeowner, the property and the repairs needed.

Every Homeowner Deserves to be Treated With Dignity

We understand that asking for help can be difficult. Storm damage, flooding, aging materials, unexpected expenses and financial hardship can leave homeowners facing repairs they cannot manage alone.

The Faatz Foundation reviews each request with compassion, respect and confidentiality. Our goal is to understand the circumstances, determine whether the project aligns with our mission and explore what assistance may be possible.

Who We May Be Able To Help

The Faatz Foundation primarily considers requests involving:

• Homes located in Brunswick County, North Carolina
• Owner-occupied primary residences
• Conditions that affect health, safety or the ability to remain in the home
• Homeowners experiencing financial hardship or limited access to traditional repair resources
• Projects that are reasonably within the Foundation’s available funding, expertise and capacity

Every situation is different. Meeting these general considerations does not guarantee that assistance will be available.

Repair Needs We May Consider

Requests may involve:

• Unsafe or deteriorated flooring
• Roof leaks or weather-related damage
• Water intrusion and damage caused by flooding
• Unsafe walls, ceilings, steps or structural components
• Repairs needed to restore basic use of the home
• Renovation needs affecting the homeowner’s health or safety
• Other serious conditions that may prevent a family from remaining safely at home

The Foundation does not provide routine remodeling, cosmetic upgrades or improvements intended primarily to increase a property’s value.

How The Process Works

Please Read Before Submitting

Submitting this form does not create a contract or guarantee financial assistance, materials, labor or repair services. Assistance depends upon eligibility, project feasibility, available resources, funding and approval by The Faatz Foundation.

The Foundation may be unable to accept certain projects because of safety concerns, licensing requirements, project scope, property conditions or limited resources.
